The perfect robe for when you REALLY want to show off! A full seven yards of a Jamavar Banasari sari have been converted to something that is not quite like anything anyone will ever see.
Satin fabric is is a rich red with a gold tone zari weave. The red itself varies between a crimson tone and nearly maroon tone, depending on the angle and tone of the light that hits it, and seems to shimmer with every movement of the garment or the wearer.
The fabric is completely reversible, with a complementary gold with crimson accents on the other side. If the garment shows the reverse, you will not be disappointed!
Japanese sleeves are left open in the back so that the observer may glimpse the beauty of the fabric from the inside. Rolled hems on every place that can have one mean that you will not experience any fray of the fabric. The slight train is designed to give an extra touch of flow to the garment, no matter where you wear it.
The "collarless" design allows the wearer to show off the heavy zari edges of the fabric, accenting the grace of the neck or the shape of the shoulders. The garment is a true One-size, with rich pleating on the shoulders to envelop all bodies in buttery softness. Everyone who wears this will be unique, and everyone will be beautiful.
Dress in something REALLY impressive at your next costume party. Wear around the house as a hostess robe, or just to revel in the softness of the fabric.
Details: - Rolled hems so that there is no fraying - Jamavar Banasari Satin flows and is soft to the skin - Pleated at the shoulders for fullness - One size fit looks amazing on all wearers - Rich silver weave withing the fabric - Reversible fabric means that you don't have to keep it closed - 90" Obi will fit most any waistline - Slight train adds elegance to the flow of the garment - Soft fabric drapes beautifully - Easy care fabric - Cold water wash and drip dry
Wow... Those are som sleeves! Looks like it would fit a taller lady best, IMO.. I think I'd look like a little child if I wore it, lost in all that fabric.

Well, a taller one would definitely avoid the trailing on the ground, but the part of me that loves the "puddle o' fabric" approach likes all the pooling. *grin*
