It isn't often that you get an inspiration for a complete idea. This is the exception to the rule.

My friend (who took the pictures) told me that I should make things for myself, with an eye to others enjoying, but mostly for the joy of making the art. So, completely out of character, I made a white fairy to see if I could do it.

I believe that the results speak for themselves.

"Ingredients" About 10 yards of 60" lace for the dress and wings, another 7 yards of 6" lace trim for the edging, cotton for the underparts of the dress, and enough ribbon and glitter to make a magpie envious.

how wonderful. it all fits together so well. we need more detailed pictures of the dress tiself though. looks like it has nice lines, but it's hard to see!

and yes, this magpie is jealous :P
